Hi there, I’m Tyra Sistrunk — and I’m really glad you’re here. I’m a Gallup‑Certified Strengths Coach and a certified Career Development Coach & Facilitator through the National Career Development Association (NCDA). I’m also trained as a Change Management Coach with Prosci, Inc., and I’ve earned a certification from the Human Capital Institute’s “Coaching for Engagement & Performance” program.

What all of that really means is this: I help people and organizations grow with clarity, confidence, and strategy. Through my business, Blue Monday Group, LLC, I design and deliver career development, executive coaching, and consulting services for professionals, students, local businesses, and non‑profit organizations. Before joining the Federal government, I built a diverse foundation of experience — from teaching in Baltimore City Public Schools, to serving as an adjunct professor at Baltimore City Community College, to supporting survivors as a domestic violence counselor at the House of Ruth of Maryland. These roles shaped the way I coach today: with empathy, structure, and a deep respect for people’s lived experiences.

I earned my Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Morgan State University. And now, I use everything I’ve learned to help clients move forward with purpose and momentum.
